Bhutan Trip

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and drive to Phuntsholing (170 km / 4-5 hrs), the gateway to Bhutan. Complete immigration formalities and check in to hotel. Evening free to explore the Indo-Bhutan border town. Overnight stay at Phuntsholing.

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu (176 km / 5-6 hrs), the capital city of Bhutan. The scenic drive takes you through winding mountain roads with beautiful valley views. Upon arrival, check in to hotel. Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Morning sightseeing in Thimphu covering Buddha Dordenma statue, National Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, and local handicraft market. After lunch, drive to Punakha (77 km / 3 hrs) via Dochula Pass (3,100m) with 108 memorial chortens. Overnight stay at Punakha.

Morning visit to Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan's most beautiful dzongs located at the confluence of two rivers. Walk across the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. After lunch, drive to Paro (125 km / 4 hrs). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

Early morning trek to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched on a cliff 900m above Paro valley. The trek takes 4-5 hours round trip. After lunch, visit Paro Dzong, National Museum, and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (170 km / 5-6 hrs) via Phuntsholing. Complete exit formalities at the border. Depart with wonderful memories of the Land of Thunder Dragon.
